I've been thinking about this somewhat lately -- do you guys have a problem with the age difference between Lucy and Dusty? If so, is it specific to the Lucy/Dusty pairing, or do you have a problem with age differences in any relationship? Personally, I have no problem on the basis of age alone. (I do have issues when it seems as if one person is in a position of power/authority over another, which is often but not always connected to differences in age, but that's another topic.) I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I have no problem with the age difference, the age difference is one reason I like them, I don't think it would have the same affect if he was say 20 or if she was 30, the large age difference is what makes them, well them. Lucy and Dusty.

I have no problem with the age difference. In fact, I tend to like older man/younger woman pairings, and I really wanted to like Lucy/Dusty. However, I don't really like them at all, mainly because I don't like Lucy & Dusty apart, so why should I care about them together?

I don't have any problem with age difference. I think it makes this pairing interesting.

Nope. Lucy's really mature for her age, and that's all that counts. Now if she were like Alison...than we'd have a problem.

Age differences in couples don't bother me at all... (But I guess that much should be blatantly obvious by now...) Lucy & Dusty have so much chemistry when they're onscreen together... And, like Misti said, that's really all that matters!

Age difference doesn't bother me. I've enjoyed and loved quite a few couples that had a big age gap, although they were all over the age of 25 at the time.
I didn't have a problem at all with Chris and Alison's relationship besides the fact that I thought they had no chemistry.
For me its the fact that Dusty's a gambler, hustler and so worldly. Maybe if Dusty wasn't such a sleezy character before, I might not have such a big problem. I guess his "experience" is what makes me against him being anywhere near Lucy. I would say the same about someone who was the same age as Lucy with the exact same background as Dusty's.
I will admit that I ff alot of their scenes so I may be missing the "appeal" in that respect, but in the end it just doesn't feel right to me.

I have to admit when i first learned Dusty and Lucy were going to be put together before it all started, my first thoughts were he's way too old for her. But the second they had their first scenes, i didn't care about the age at all and i still don't. I just love them, and age doesn't make a difference to me.

It doesn't matter to me. Like crazywackycat said, that's what makes them "them", it's also what makes them appealing to me. Con also summed it up for me, Lucy's really mature for her age so it's easy to like their chemistry, IMO.
