I LOVED Sunset Beach. So unique. It is what inspired me to create my own soap opera, well, in a way. See, I was loving the "Terror Island" storyline so I decided that it was my duty as a fan to expand the story and write a novel (I know, what a stupid idea). Well, what ended up happening was I kept creating all these new characters, and I was focusing on them more than the Sunset Beach characters, so I ditched the novel idea, kept what good characters I had created, and added more, changed the storyline and created my own. And here I am over 6 and a half years later, STILL writing it. But, yeah, I do miss Sunset Beach. I don't think it ran its course. It could have gone on a lot longer than it did.

I do miss Sunset Beach. I don't think it ran its course. It could have gone on a lot longer than it did. I couldn't agree more! During THAT time, SB was one of the best daytime drama's on the air, and the most interesting to say the least. I too, miss SB and wish it were still on the air. |

sunset beach ended way to soon i think too
santa barbara was the first soap i ever watched
and another world was a great soap and was so sorry to see it end

I used to love SunBe! I was so sad to see it cancelled. I always wanted Gabi and Antonio to hook up.
I didn't see much of Santa Barbara. I only watched the last year of it because I knew it was being cancelled. I liked the little of it that I saw.

I was a major league Santa Barbara fan. I watched it while I was in college and for a few years after, until it was cancelled.
Cruz & Eden were one of the best romantic couples ever
Followed closely by Mason & Julia (even though there were 3 actors who played Mason, NLG was so awesome she made the coupling work with each of them)
I also loved Kelly Capwell and Robert Barr
That's one soap I was sorry to see go off the air.

Annie was a great bad girl. She was one of my favorites too. I never liked Ben and Meg until Sydney Penny took over as Meg for awhile. I hated to see her go. ITA. I also liked SP as Meg. I was a Ben/Maria fan. Loved Annie. Her fantasies were hilarious |

i was and still a fan of all
sunset- ben and (susans meg) were my fave couple, love gabtonio, annie, gregory and olivia, micheal and vanessa
aw- vicki(anne and jenson) they both were awsome as that charactor, loved josie and matt, felisha and luca
santa- eden and cruz, kelly(carrington garland) and robert, love NLG ON THERE AS WELL

They were before my soap watching time, but I have seen tapes of SuBe. God I love that show. Could be because I love Tim Adams. *sigh*  At least every now and again we get to catch a glimpse of him on OLTL. Greens |

i was and still a fan of all aw- vicki(anne and jenson) they both were awsome as that charactor, loved josie and matt, felisha and luca santa- eden and cruz, kelly(carrington garland) and robert, love NLG ON THERE AS WELL I was a HUGE AW fan and watched Santa Barbara as well, for about the last 4 years it was on air. AW is my fave all-time soap. ;D Vicky, Frankie, Cass, Jake and Felicia were my fave AW characters. You must have watched SB at the same time I did because I preferred Carrington as Kelly as well. She was in the part when i started watching and she looks so much like Marcy(Eden) it was really believable that they were sisters. |

I loved Santa Barbara and Another World... I was so pissed when they were cancelled, especially Another World. I never really got into Sunset Beach though.
